Modi Asserts BJP’s Commitment to Delivering on Promises Ahead of Jharkhand Elections | Ranchi News

Ranchi: Ahead of the voting day for the first phase of the assembly election on Nov 13, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday interacted with booth-level BJP workers online and advised them to visit every household to “expose” the false promises of the coalition govt led by Hemant Soren.
Hailing BJP’s manifesto, he asked the workers to convince the voters to cast their ballots for the NDA candidates. “Each of you must focus on ensuring that your booth bags the highest votes for us. Only by winning every booth, the BJP-led NDA govt will be able to oust the INDIA bloc govt,” he said.
He further said, “Jharkhand is ready for a change as in the last five years, the incumbent coalition govt has only looted the state’s natural resources and duped the people. They made tall promises in their manifesto, but didn’t fulfil them.”
Accusing Congress of making false promises, Modi claimed that the grand old party was finding it difficult to run Karnataka even though it formed the govt by majority.
“BJP doesn’t give false assurances. We only promise what we can deliver. As a booth-level worker, you must tell this to voters,” he said, stressing that over the past 10 years, his govt at the Centre worked on long-term policies for the country.
“During Congress’s tenure, loans were hard to get from banks, requiring guarantees and documents. Hence, we introduced the Mudra scheme, allowing loans up to Rs 20 lakh without a guarantee,” he added.
